picture of me My primary employer is my wife and kids. To feed and house them I work at IP Unity - an exciting young startup working on intelligent peripherals and service nodes for next generation networks. At IP Unity I get to wear the title Vice President Technologies and Standards.

For fun I teach at the University of Colorado (Denver) Computer Science Department as an Honorarium Faculty Member lecturing on Data Communications.

I'm a Christian, and an active participant in the ministries of Promise Keepers. I attend Village Baptist Church in Thornton, Colorado, serve on the deacon board, and manage their website.

My hobbies are flying and genealogy. When I get the chance I like to go fly our airplane. I fly missions for Angel Flight West. In what little spare time I can find, I also try to keep up with my genealogy. It used to be on line, but is presently off line. Contact me if you have any questions about it.

I maintain the USGenWeb ( COGenWeb) pages for Clear Creek and Gilpin Counties in Colorado.

I love to travel. To date I've been to 49 of the 50 US states (all but Arkansas), and have been in the following countries:
Americas (4): Argentina, Canada (5 provinces), Mexico, United States
Asia/South Pacific (11): Australia, China, Hong Kong (before it was part of China), Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand
Europe (16): Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Lichtenstein, Luxumboerg, Monoco, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Vatican City.

When opportunity arises, I'd like to eventually get to the Middle East and to Africa.
